Chernobyl Disaster

Photos from my recent trip to Chernobyl. These are great photos showing what the world would look like 30 years after humans are gone. It was so spooky being there because the sun was shining and the area is filled with wildlife and in many ways the world seems to be thriving there in the absence of humanity. However, Geiger counters will constantly remind you of how absolutely dangerous it is; in fact the area next to the old amusement park had a highly dangerous hot-spot that we were ushered away from and even the guides were wary. There are areas you cannot access and they are called "graveyards", such as the infamous 'Red Forest' where it is highly deadly to enter. 

There are photos of exterior and interior shots. Some of the interior shots are slightly blurred at full res (100%), but still very usable. I had no ability to use a tripod for the interior shots as we were technically not allowed inside buildings but I snuck away from the guides to get you great photos. shhhhh!
